I was not a longtime friend of Mary but feel blessed to have gotten to be her friend for a short time. I began an email correspondence with her when I learned through our connection in DKG of her cancer at its time of diagnosis. Each time I would write to her she would respond with such hope and optimism, as though trying to cheer me. I have never met such a positive person. I was sure she would be cured. You were so very lucky to have had her as yours in your lives.
She will be greatly missed by so many and most especially you, her family. Of one thing I am very sure -she was not afraid to leave us and meet her Lord. My condolences to you.
